Hello everyone! This year OUR DIGITAL STUDIO has been very blessed with a good amount of bookings for the upcoming 2012 wedding season. And to start off the season right, we would like to Thank everyone; our supporters, friends, love ones, colleagues, and especially past/present/future clients, by giving back to the community that has been the back bone of our business.

And so the time has finally come, OUR DIGITAL STUDIO will be giving out THREE photo session for FREE, three-free! This whole entire thing is to promote the relaunching of the New ODS Brand, which will take place in Mid April 2012! :) Each session will be photographed by Noel Dasmarinas and filmed by our cinematographer, Joe Irasusta. We will then create a cinematic short film and photo blog of each event. So you can share and brag to your friends in facebook, or twitter, or tumbler (for that matter) how super-awesome-cool your experience was with Team ODS! Besides how cool it is, you get something memorable to keep that will last for a lifetime. :)

So are you ready? Here are the details:

OK! So the contest will consist of the following three categories: Engagement, Trash-the-Dress, and Family Portrait. There will only be ONE winner picked for each respective categories. Each participant or couple will only be allowed to participate in one.

We would like to know your uniquely inspiring stories of you as an engaged couple, married couple, or how awesome your family is and tell us why you want to experience the ODS Session. We want to hear your stories! We want to know how you crafted your life together distinguishly from the rest! :)

Submissions of stories will start today, March 16, 2012, until April 03, 2012. We will then have a trustful panel of judges that will choose the TOP THREE submissions for each category. Everyone will then vote here in the blog by leaving comments and in the Facebook fan page. The winning participants will be announced on the day of our RELAUNCH PARTY in April 17, 2012.

Engagement/Trash-The-Dress will receive (worth $700+):

• 4-5 Hours On-Location Photo Session
• 80 Photos Edited in ODS Color & Style
• High Resolution copies in CD/DVD & Online Protected Gallery
• 8×8 20 side Mini Album
• Cinematic Short Film

Family Portraits will receive:

• 2 Hours On-Location Photo Session
• 30 Photos Edited in ODS Color & Style
• High Resolution copies in CD/DVD & Online Protected Gallery
• One 16×24 High Quality Canvas Print
• Cinematic Short Film

Some Guidelines to be followed:

• We want to hear stories that is inspiring about the couple or family.
• Each participant or couple will only be allowed to participate in one of the category.
• You may enter in your family, friend, bestfriend, mom&dad, etc. You can send as many entries as you want.
• Past, future, or present ODS clients are eligible to enter.
• Shoot must be scheduled to be done before the end of June 2012.
• You must be engaged or married to enter the Engagement or TTD category.
• Family Session is limited to one single-family only.
• If you are entering the contest from out-of-state California or South California, you must provide travel and accommodation fee for two. Unless, you plan on taking a trip and doing it here in North California. :)
• All submissions must be sent through info@ourdigitalstudio.com
• Email Subject Line format must be, in all caps: ODS 2012 GIVEAWAY, [Couple/Family Name], [Family Portrait, Trash-the-Dress, Engagement] example: ODS 2012 GIVEAWAY, JOE&JANE, ENGAGEMENT
• You must submit a photo of the couple/family attached with the submission.
• In exchange, the participants must be willing to share their stories and their photos in the ODS blog. :)

Well, what are you waiting for!? Start sharing and writing! :)

During our Engagement Session, a few days away from the wedding day, at the Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, there was a musician playing with his Guitar. It immediately sparked an idea for me. So I asked Joe to go speak with him and maybe request a romantic song while we shoot the couple sitting down and drinking their hot coffee. Mia even told us that she really liked the musician’s voice. So I told Joe to grab a copy of his music so we could use the same song he was playing for the SDE.

Moving forward to the wedding day, we just finished editing the SDE, and it was showtime. Mia asked me what was the projector and the screen for, but she assumed it was a slideshow of her baby pictures. Little did Mia and Elijah know, their in for a surprise.

We really love and enjoy this couple’s company even though we’ve only known met one another for only a day, it felt as though we’ve known them for quite a while. This is why Joe and I decided to an SDE for them :)
