Mia + Elijah // Surprise Same-Day Edit

During our Engagement Session, a few days away from the wedding day, at the Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, there was a musician playing with his Guitar. It immediately sparked an idea for me. So I asked Joe to go speak with him and maybe request a romantic song while we shoot the couple sitting down and drinking their hot coffee. Mia even told us that she really liked the musician’s voice. So I told Joe to grab a copy of his music so we could use the same song he was playing for the SDE.

Moving forward to the wedding day, we just finished editing the SDE, and it was showtime. Mia asked me what was the projector and the screen for, but she assumed it was a slideshow of her baby pictures. Little did Mia and Elijah know, their in for a surprise.

We really love and enjoy this couple’s company even though we’ve only known met one another for only a day, it felt as though we’ve known them for quite a while. This is why Joe and I decided to an SDE for them :)

Ba + Tuyet Wedding // Same-Day Edit

Our first wedding of the year 2012, and we are very happy and excited to share to everyone our same-day edit video of this awesome couple: Ba & Tuyet. This was our first vietnamese wedding that we documented–very traditional indeed. The tea ceremony was followed by a white wedding dress ceremony at Sunol Golf Course. Then the reception at the Asian Pearl restaurant in Fremont.

Margie + Noli // A San Franciscan Engagement

Margie and Noli are two awesome lovebirds that we worked with last October. As any other engagement photoshoots in the beautiful city of San Francisco, we all thought the day would turn out cloudy. But It didn’t. We were very fortunate to have the day workable for me and the couple. =) We began shooting at the Twin Peaks where the groom, Noli, proposed to her beautiful bride-to-be, Margaret, or Margie for short–as family and friends would call her. A very sweet place indeed to do a proposal. Joe came along to 2nd shoot, but ended up fully assisting because he forgot his camera strap. lol. Enough babbling, Enjoy this set!

Tuyet + Ba Modern Engagement // Monterey, CA

Monterey California is known for it’s all-year round cool climate, but when it was time to shoot these couple’s engagement, the weather was just perfect. The warmth summer sun smiled on us that day. We started our shoot at a beach park in the historic Fort Ord. It is an old abandoned WW2 Army base. The beach dunes was used as a firing range for soldiers to train on (It quickly reminded me of the days when I went bootcamp in the Army). Then we continued our photoshoot at the Cannery Row up to the Lover’s Point. The Bride, Tuyet, is a good friend of Angela (our August bride). We were so happy she chose us to become her photo/video team for her wedding next year January. And we’re very excited to perform that day since it will be our first Vietnamese wedding. :) Enjoy their Engagement photos!

Jan + Crishelle // Engagement Session

This Engagement Session was probably the most funnest shoot that the team had worked on. Jan and Crishelle fulfilled our wish to shoot in Disneyland, but before we drove down to Anaheim we shot some photos/videos at the Palace of the Fine Arts in San Francisco. We also had Disneyland first timers, Ashley and Joe. Ashley was hired by Crishelle to do her hair and make-up and Joe shot the footage for the trailer (see below). Many thanks to Chilly Willy for providing us with music on our road trip to Disneyland and back. and also to Portos for the awesome cheesecakes! :) Behind the Scene photos to follow in our FACEBOOK Page!

Jon + Angela INC Wedding // San Francisco Bay Area, CA

An early call time, 7am preparation at the Marriot, for a 9:30am wedding ceremony in the Iglesia Ni Cristo
chapel of Fremont–A wedding planned in just two months. Pressure was on me since I’ve taken the challenge
of doing an SDE Video for the couple. My heart was racing, I was nervous but still intact, and the adrenaline in
my veins continued to flow. I’ve gone through many types of pressured work, but none like this one. I had until
4pm to finish the edit. My concentration allowed me focus on the project ahead of me, ignoring all outside
disturbance. Time swiftly passed by. Things happened too quickly that I never got the chance to pause and absorb
everything around me. Then I finished and presented the piece, and everyone enjoyed it. At the end of the day, All
that I could recall was the beautiful bride, the handsome groom, the wonderful people, the solemn ceremony,
and the simple reception, this wedding and all of it in it’s simplest form was ’simply beautiful.’

Sorry, the Mother of the Bride looks like shes giving the middle finger but she’s actually not, Look closer! lol. :)
