Angela or Angie for short and I have known each other since I’ve moved to Stockton, It came to a surprise when
I received a phone call from her asking for my photography services for her wedding. It’s in a couple weeks, and I am
definitely excited for the day to come. The engagement session took place at the very beautiful and elegant
Wente Vineyard in Livemore, California. We didn’t plan this place in the beginning nor have we’ve been here, but the
place was very awesome and we had some good time shooting. Joe came along for the session later that day in
Fremont to shoot their Pre-nup video. :) With no further ado, enjoy the ODS’ession of Angela and Jonathan!

Mr. Christian Louboutin came down to play too.

Ohhh yeah! The guys at the golf course were kind enough to let us borrow the golf carts-Free of charge. That was fun!

Epic location!

I almost stepped on this cute baby snake when I opened up one of the wine cellar doors.

Collaboration of two masterminds. (not yet–we’re getting there!)

Post is dedicated to Mona for her continued full support of ODS. =)

A week before the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Narcisso Sr. & Corazon Datuin we had a family session together.
This Family Portrait was like no other, I mean c’mon, an average pro photographer would probably just walk out of the
scene if they saw how crazy out-of-control this family can get. But not me, this was the kind of craziness I was expecting it to be,
because I’m so used to this–and I had fun doing it! I myself grew up in a very big family. Back in the day there were no such
thing as birth control pills, so my Grandpa and Grandma somehow made Twelve Kids…and when you multiply that by
Four (the average offsprings) would equate how many cousins I grew up with. This family reminded me of my childhood days
growing up with all my cousins, and we were all equally crazy as this family. Haha. So I had a blast doing The Datuin’s
family photos and I enjoyed it very much! =)

It was their anniversary, so I gave them extra camera time! hah.

Epic!

The Datuin Clan was kind enough to approach and asked me to cover their Parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary.
I was honored to be the photographer because I know renewal of vows are very special in many ways.
Not only it shows their wedding vows in the very beginning prospered, it shows that they continue to fulfill
their love and commitment for each other despite the many trials they face. I knew then that I had to
break away from my contemporary style, and shoot this very special occasion in a photojournalistic approach.
I was inspired by Master Photographer Dino Lara and Master Wedding Cinematographer Jason Magbanua on
their simple coverage, yet powerful, work of “King Gimp.” I challenged myself in this shoot and just used two
prime lenses: 35mm and the 85mm. The beautiful Ceremony was held at the INC Locale of Mountain View, CA.
Joe Irasusta came along to shoot the video, and I cannot wait to see how It will turn out.
Will be posting that soon! For now, Enjoy! =)

I was able to finally finish this album and had already delivered it to my Clients: Mark & Trish. I’m very happy that
they loved the album. I’m also in love with their albums, I think I’m going to have one copy made for myself
and to show to future client. What I love about these albums is that they are Waterproof. Yes, waterproof! You
can drench these beautiful & elegant books in water. :D
